Last Year’s Workshop

After a 2 year pandemic hiatus we were pleased to return to the Art Gallery of Burlington, Burlington, Ontario for our annual Fall Workshop! It was a fun day to get together, visit with friends and share our collective enthusiasm over looking at minerals under the scope.

Cost for the day was $25 including parking and coffee service. There were also microminerals for sale and the usual table of giveway material shared amongst the group. If you have an interest in exploring the world of microminerals, join us!. Our annual 3 day Spring Symposium is held the first weekend of May in St. Catharines, Ontario while our Saturday Fall Workshop is held the 2nd Saturday of November in Burlington, Ontario. In between these events, we stay in touch through our newsletter the MicroNews. Membership is $17 per year and can be paid online https://canadianmicromineralassociation.com/?page_id=374

While we sometimes have presentations from members, the day is quite informal. Typically we have a sales table, a giveaway table and spend the day trading material, showing specimens off, looking for help with identifications, and socializing. There are a few nearby restaurants within a 10 or 15 minute walk, or bring your lunch.
